Hello, I’m Shannon

Therapy has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve provided mental health counseling to youth, victims of abuse and trauma as well as individuals struggling with their life’s unique challenges. My passion, however, has always been working to help couples navigate the complex landscape of their relationships.

Believing that renewed connections must be built on solid foundations, I approach therapy with these core values: honesty, respect, compassion, understanding and kindness. By weaving these deeply held principles into every session, we’ll create a warm, non-judgmental sanctuary where you and your partner feel truly heard and safely held.

Whether you are facing communication breakdowns, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply seeking to deepen your bond with a loved one, my gentle approach will empower you to untangle relationship challenges, heal emotional wounds and foster a healthier, more fulfilling connection.

A Tailored Approach to Your Relationship

No two people and no two partnerships are exactly alike. Because your dynamic is entirely your own, we’ll utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, tailored to fit the distinct personalities of you and your partner and the goals you hold for your future.

From our first sessions, we’ll work to understand who you are as individuals considering how your unique temperaments, communication styles, and personal histories interact.

Next, we’ll work collaboratively to define what a thriving relationship looks like for you. Understanding your destination, we’ll draw from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based therapeutic models to create your personalized roadmap. Cognitive strategies will be fluidly blended with emotion-focused techniques so both partners feel equally seen and supported. By continually adapting our methods to what resonates best with your individual personalities, we create a safe, steady harbor where you can do the deep work.

Our ultimate goal is to help you build a resilient foundation - one that allows you to bend without breaking when challenges arise, weather life’s changing tides together, and grow into the most authentic, connected version of your partnership.
